Stamp Set of the Week - Birthday Blossoms from Stampin' Up!

Wow, we're on to the 3rd set in the catalogue already (well it's not quite the 3rd, but it's the 3rd one I own).

Today on the blog we have Birthday Blossoms.

Today's card is based on a sketch from Retro Sketches. I love this challenge blog, they have some great sketches but I often forget to check!

I've gone back to the 2015 - 2017 In Colors for this card. I've used Watermelon Wonder, Delightful Dijon and Cucumber Crush. I just adore this years ribbon for these colours, and have used a bit of the Watermelon Wonder across the top of the card.

I stamped the sentiment on to Whisper White card using the Delightful Dijon and cut this and the Watermelon Wonder layer out using the Tags & Labels Framelits dies. The flowers were stamped in Watermelon Wonder and the leaves in Cucumber Crush. Yes, they are fussy cut, it takes a bit of work, but it's worth it as they look so pretty on some Dimensionals framing the sentiment.

I am so organised this week, I know, shock right? I have all 5 Birthday Blossoms projects ready and pictures taken. I just need to now write the posts and make the projects for Party with Cake ready for next week
