It's time already for my last project using this week's featured stamp set Confetti Celebration.
I've only made 4 projects this week as life got a little hectic and I missed posting to Facebook on Tuesday and blogging yesterday. So instead of this being my weekly round up your seeing my last card.
This was inspired by something I saw on Pinterest, but for the life of me I can't find it! I've even looked on the blog the post was from, can't see it!
I've used Sweet Sugarplum ink & card. The background is stamped off once, then stamped on to the card. For the star I inked the "YAY" stamp with Versamark and then inked it with the Sweet Sugarplum. This then lets me cover the image with embossing powder, which sticks to the Versamark! I mixed the clear embossing powder with Dazzling Diamonds glitter and heat embossed this so my star is sparkly.
The washi tape is from the Playful Palette designer washi tape pack, and then there is a strip of Silver Glimmer paper.
I think I finally have a card for my nephew who was 15 over a week ago. It's ok, my nieces and nephew take bets on how long they will wait for their card, I am the worst auntie when it comes to this! I remember their birthdays but travel round with their card and present for weeks before I get round to delivering!
It sometime takes a while as I make a card and change my mind so make another. I'm currently on my 20-something version of my niece's card for her 12th birthday, I am not going to tell you how long ago that was!
Every year I think I must do better, and I do make their cards well in advance, but they still don't get delivered on time! I seriously need to "give my head a wobble" as my nieces would say!
