With coming from a large, close family, there are a lot of birthdays and we tend to spend a fair few of them together. This meant there were many pictures to choose from.
I decided to go with this one, of my oldest sister Christine, on her birthday last October. My sisters and I had met up at our friend Nikki's house, just outside of Lincoln for a girls weekend.
We spent the Saturday exploring Lincoln, with Lincoln Cathedral being the big highlight of the day! The picture of Chris was taken in the Cloister, where we could hear the choir practising for a concert.
I'd chosen a photo, I knew my title and some embellishments would be stamped images from Birthday Blossoms, I just had to decide on papers.
Now aren't these lush? These are the Moroccan papers, I thought the colours went well with the stone and the blue of Chris' jacket. I need the coordinating washi now!
And here's the finished layout! The heart die is from Sunshine Wishes Thinlits, the tag from Tags & Labels Framelits and the banner is from the Bunch of Banners Framelits, the one die cuts both the inner banner and the frame!
Oh, and there's a touch of that divine Daper Denim Ruched ribbon.
