Scribble stamping

Do you ever see something when blog hopping or taking a gander round Pinterest, that makes you think "wow!" or "why didn't I think of that?"? Sometimes even, both at the same time?

Last week for me that was the faux chalkboard technique, and this week it's scribble stamping.

I happened upon this post today, and just loved the cards. I watched the tutorial video, as it would have been rude not to, then had a play.

I made a set of 3 cards using the stamps from Feeling Sentimental, my favourite Sale-A-Bration 2013 set.

This first card is using Midnight Muse, Island Indigo & Baja Breeze Stampin' Write Markers.

I stamped the images in Stazon, to get that bold jet black look that stands out against the colours.

The phone box had to have Real Red, I then used Crumb Cake  &  Tempting Turquoise.

It's very straight forward to copy this technique, you just need 3 pens of choice. I've used Stampin Write Markers for my collection, with Early Espresso, Soft Suede  & Crumb Cake for this final card.

You scribble the pen on your piece of card and stamp over the top. Told you it was easy!

Go on, have a go and link to your card in the comments so I can take a look.
