Recoloured Glimmer paper

Stampin' Up! Silver Glimmer Paper is divine, but sometimes you need a splash of colour with your bling.

I found this post via Pinterest, and just lover the red glittery dress, which Becky had used the Red Glimmer Paper to make. I had to have a play.

Now I know Concord Crush retired last October, but I just had to use it (mainly as it's the only ink I had that I thought would do for formal wear!).

So, what did I do? Well, I cut 2 of the dresses from the Dressed Up Framelits and dropped a few spots of Concord Crush refill ink on to them. Using a dauber, I spread the colour over the paper. One it had dried I trimmed the skirt off one of the dresses and layered it behind. To finish it was all stuck to a cut out of the dress makers dummy, from the same Framelits set, and a few rhinestones were added to the shoulders.

What do you think?
