My ARC list.

If the photo a day challenge wasn't enough for me I've decided to join Darcy's Artful Readers Club (ARC).

What we have to do is read a book a month, when we've read it review it and create a piece of art inspired by the book.

I have to say I didn't pick my books with the last bit in mind! 1st book easy, got the art in my mind already... but some of them NO IDEA!!

My art idea (at the min) is an art journal.

So first things first is my list of 12 books, which most of which are on my Kindle...

Not sure on the order I'm going to read them yet, just that the 2 trillogys will be in order and three succesive months. So, in no particular order;

  1. The Red Queen
  2. The Lady of the Rivers
  3. Naked Heat
  4. Heat Rises
  5. Frozen Heat
  6. The Hunger Games
  7. Catching Fire
  8. Mocking Jay
  9. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
  10. The Girl who Played with Fire
  11. The Girl who Kicked the Hornets Nest
  12. Stargate Atlantis - Legacy Series Book 1 - Homecoming
As my readers, I rely on you to remind me!!

That's all for now, back later with today's photo and maybe some crafty stuff!

xx

  2. Great list, welcome aboard. I am sure the art will come to you as you read the book, remember it can be anything it just needs to be inspired by the book.

  6. My Dad got the Hunger Games trilogy for Christmas so he may find that gone missing for a while after your reviews ;) I am in the same boat with my first book, not a clue at the most as to what arty thing I'm going to do...

  7. Great list! Philippa Gregory is one of my favourite authors. I loved 'The Red Queen' and the other one is on my shelf waiting to be read! I have read the 'Hunger Games' trilogy and whilst they made me feel sick to the stomach I loved them! Very thought provoking! ....same with Larsson's trilogy.
