Scrap Happy

I'm back scrapping again, which is really great to be doing. Haven't really scrapped much for over a year and have been missing my monthly get together with my crafty friends for our crop, hoping that will all change now I am not devoting all my crafting time to my business.

The picture I've scrapped here is of my nieces & nephew on Christmas morning 2011. I've used this weeks sketch from Creative Scrappers which is where my scrapping yesterday started.

I chose to turn the picture black & white as I wanted to use the Everyday Enchantment papers which are free with a £45 purchase as one of Stampin' Up's Sale-A-Bration sets.


I made an overlay with a piece of acetate, Stazon and the Fresh Vintage stamp set, also free with another £45 purchase during Sale-A-Bration.

I popped the overlay over the photo

and fixed it in place with some gorgeous brads (from the US).

Oh, and I need a title, any ideas?

  3. This is beautiful ... Love the acetate overlay in particular... As for a title I am not very imaginative but maybe cousins and then have the quote about cousins being first friends or something similar?
