I stamped the background in Island Indigo, one of the new 2011 - 2013 In Color Collection (find out how to get your's free) on to Very Vanilla card, and cut the aperture with the exclusive Top Note die in my Big Shot. It's not easy getting it lined up in the centre!
I stamped the tree swing from 'Forever Young' (122570 £23.95 wood mount 122572 £18.95 clear mount) on to a spare sheet protector. The idea was to stamp it on to a Window Sheet, but I'd used my last bit and really wanted to make this card. I have some old 8" x 11.5" sheet protectors that I never used, so I cut one up.
I used Stazon, you have to be really careful it doesn't slide when you put the stamp down, then you have to hold the plastic down when lifting the stamp as it sticks.
To assemble the card, the stamped page protector was fixed with Sticky Strip to the back of the aperture, then I used the sides of my sheets of Dimensionals to stick the aperture to the card base, both in Island Indigo.
I finished off with one of the 'Four Frames' and a sentiment from 'Vintage Vogue'. I'm not sure about that bit though, the top corner needed something but I'm thinking that might be a bit big. Oh Well, it's stuck down now!
That's all for today, thanks for stopping by.
Happy Crafting!
